TREC Apprentice Inspector #20670
Nathan Neal, an apprentice and lead property manager inspector, completed his core curriculum for inspection training at the Austin Institute of Real Estate after remodeling two houses in college. His interest in the building and remodeling process spiked his interest in real estate inspections and since then he has become a dedicated student of the industry. After achieving an apprentice level license with the Texas Real Estate Commission in 2013, Nathan joined Scotts Inspections to train under the skilled team while simultaneously performing tenant inspections for the property management division. His dedication to excellent report writing has provided property managers/landlords with an inspection report unprecedented in the rental industry, and he continues to realize that field training trumps any textbook written about home inspecting.

“Nathan Neal of Scotts Inspections performs regular inspections on our rental properties and perform move in orientations to educate our tenants on safety and various maintenance related issues. This orientation not only gives our tenants the information they need to properly care for our homes, but it helps show the tenants that our expectations for the care of our homes are high!”- Melissa Smith
